Workplace Wellbeing Day

Siobhan and Tina were invited to represent Vitalis Health Private GP at the Workplace Wellbeing Day in the Mac, in Belfast City Centre Cathedral Quarter in October. The Mac sits in the shadow of the beautiful St Anne’s Cathedral. It is a hub for cultural events, art exhibitions, theatre productions, music concerts and corporate events. It also has a thriving cafe. There is always a buzz!

We were inspired to create changes for ourselves during our workdays.

Everyone received a goody bag full of recipes and a bag of flaxseed.

A jam packed programme full of goodness!

This was a brand-new showcase event for HR professionals highlighting the best of NI's workplace wellbeing providers including our own Dr Siobhan Graham. The room was packed out. The dozens of attendees were invited to challenge their concept of staff well-being. How can we retain the health and wellbeing of our staff in our workplace? This was organised by the inspiring Jane McClenaghan of Vital Nutrition. Jane became interested in nutrition in her Home Economics class aged 11 and has proceeded to found her own business sharing her excitement about health and nutrition with hundreds of people.

"I want to get people excited about the powerful effects that the food in our breakfast bowl, lunch box or dinner plate has on our wellbeing. I love meeting people and helping them to make changes that stick. I believe that the simple changes we can make every day are the things that will genuinely help us to feel better and function well.”

Jane McClenaghan whizzed up some fresh hummus to show us how easy and quick it is to make a healthy snack to keep us going during the dreaded Afternoon Slump.

Tina had a table set up where attendees could come and sample the Tympah ear removal technique.
