Part Time Receptionist in A Private Medical Clinic

At Vitalis Health, we are looking for a motivated, friendly, and conscientious Receptionist to join our team!
Hours – Wednesday - Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm (must be available to cover additional sickness and holidays.
Salary - from £12 per hour - dependant on experience
At Vitalis Health we place an emphasis on establishing a positive doctor-patient relationship, and we carry this throughout our whole clinic, beginning right from our patients first point of contact with you at our reception. Based at our City Centre office overlooking Great Victoria Street, in your role as a receptionist you will be there to act as a welcoming face and a source of information for all our patients attending the clinic. You will be working alongside existing staff in Vitalis Health, following their instructions. At times you will be required to work under pressure, whilst still providing the highest levels of customer service.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Dealing with telephone and email enquiries effectively, and in a friendly manner
Front of house reception duties including meeting and greeting all patients and answering any queries they may have
Maintaining up to date knowledge of our services offered in the clinic
Liaising with our Doctors, Phlebotomist, and other admin staff, maintaining supportive working relationships.
Ensuring smooth running of the reception area
Posting on our social media platforms
Perform all office administration roles including filing, typing and postal duties.
Perform any other duties as may reasonably be required from time-to-time.
Participate in training and development opportunities as required.
Always comply with Data Protection Regulations regarding safeguarding personal information.
What are we looking for?
Do not worry, training and support will be provided when you start the job. However, there is some knowledge and skills that we would like you to have previously!
Previous experience working in a healthcare role is highly desirable.
You have at least 2 years’ experience working in a fast-paced office environment and are particularly gifted with multi-tasking.
You love working with people and therefore you have a friendly, approachable attitude, coupled with customer service skills.
You are a strong communicator and have excellent IT skills.
You love working in a team, but equally can work alone using your own initiative.
You have strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work effectively
Must be flexible to cover sickness and holidays
