This is a Home Blood Test.

You must take this test when you wake up in the morning and ideally before 09:30 in the morning.

This test measures your total testosterone level. Testosterone is a male sex hormone and is vital for men for a number of roles, including their sexual development and regulating their bone and muscle mass. Testosterone is also important in women in regulating their sex drive as well as their bone and breast health.

Test results are typically ready within 2-5 working days of receipt at the laboratory, and will be shared with patients via email. If you do not receive your results within this timeframe please contact our clinic. All test results remain confidential and are shared only with the patient.

If your results are abnormal, we will be in contact with you to recommend treatment and the appropriate course of action required.
