This is a Home Blood Test.

This test will measure the levels of Free Thyroxine (Free T4), Free Thyroxine 3 (Free T3) and Thyroid-Stimulating Hormone (TSH) in the blood. If you have high levels of TSH and low levels of FT4 you could have an under active thyroid.

Common Symptoms of an Under active thyroid include: Bloating, Constipation, Struggling to lose weight, Hair Loss, Sensitivity to the Cold, Mood Changes, Dry Skin and Feeling Weak.

Test results are typically ready within 2-5 working days of receipt at the laboratory, and will be shared with patients via email. If you do not receive your results within this timeframe please contact our clinic. All test results remain confidential and are shared only with the patient.

If your results are abnormal, we will be in contact with you to recommend treatment and the appropriate course of action required. The cost of the written prescription is included in the overall cost of the test.
